From November 1 to 6, 2025, SIDAF will be presenting at the International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP2025) in Bogota, Colombia. Our presentation, titled “Global Perspectives, Local Realities: Climate Change, Gender and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Across 4 Countries in Sub-Saharan Africa,” will explore the complex interplay between climate change, gender, and SRHR in four Sub-Saharan African countries. Through this presentation, we aim to shed light on the diverse challenges and opportunities faced by communities in the region, and to contribute to the global dialogue on these critical issues. The presentation is the result of SIDAF research supported by Population Council/PERCC, on the theme Examining the Intersections of Climate Change, Health, SRHRC, Urbanization, and the Resilience of People with Disabilities, Adolescents, and Girls in Cameroon.
