Since its inception, Sustainable Impact for the Development of Africa (SIDAF) has been at the forefront of championing public health, social inclusion, and sustainable development in Cameroon. Through strategic partnerships, grassroots advocacy, and community-driven interventions, SIDAF has made significant strides in empowering vulnerable populations and fostering systemic change.
Empowering Women & Girls
Over 5,000 women and young girls have benefited from SIDAF’s programs on gender equality, leadership, and economic empowerment. Facilitated access to education, vocational training, and entrepreneurship opportunities for hundreds of young women.
Strengthening Civil Society & Advocacy
Trained 30+ Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in health financing advocacy, policy engagement, and governance. Successfully organized high-impact advocacy events, including the recent Parliamentary Advocacy Dinner, which secured policy commitments for increased health investments.
Expanding Access to Healthcare
Reached over 20 marginalized communities with healthcare interventions, including malaria prevention, maternal health, and reproductive rights awareness. Conducted 15+ health awareness campaigns focusing on malaria prevention, family planning, and universal health coverage.
Environmental Protection
Implemented 10+ environmental sustainability projects promoting clean energy, waste management, and climate action. Supported local communities in adopting eco-friendly economic practices to foster long-term resilience.
